Felt is the AI-native GIS software your team builds on, your colleagues use, and your customers see. Make maps together, connect to your live data, and share with anyone, on every plan. If you're looking to replace your legacy GIS, you're in the right place.
Yes. The Felt field application captures geotagged photos, GPS-tracked routes, and form data on phones and tablets — and it shows up live on the map back at the desk. Offline support is in beta on Professional and Enterprise plans — we're rolling it out incrementally; talk to us about your specific use case.
Yes. Charts, statistics, H3 hexagonal aggregation, time sliders, filterable popups. They live on top of your maps and update with the underlying data. Available on every plan.
Yes, on Enterprise. One config per source, live refresh on a schedule that makes sense for your data. No per-query fees and no warehouse bill spike on our end either, because Felt caches what it pulls.
Yes, and it's one of the most-used parts of Felt. The QGIS plugin preserves your styling, symbology, and layer structure when you publish from QGIS to Felt. Many customers analyze in QGIS and share on Felt; we don't ask anyone to give up their analysis tool of choice.
Yes, both — on Enterprise. You can read and write features, manage maps and layers programmatically, and embed Felt as a live component in your own product with the SDK. If you're building a product on top of Felt, we have custom pricing options that scale with your needs. Reach out to the Sales team for a custom quote.
Project-level and workspace-level permissions on every plan, with optional view-only / comment-only / edit / admin roles. SSO/SAML, IdP-managed teams, and row-level access for embedded products are on Enterprise. Embedded maps can be public, private, or auth-gated.
Yes. Felt is the collaborative GIS your whole organization can use. Cursors, live edits, threaded comments. The same map can have a GIS analyst styling layers while a field supervisor adds pins and a stakeholder leaves comments — all simultaneously, all visible.
Yes — Enterprise includes raster infrastructure for GeoTIFFs, COGs from S3, and tile services. Customers run drone orthomosaics, satellite imagery classification, and raster styling at full fidelity.
Yes. Felt is a web GIS application — works equally well on Mac, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.
Yes, on Enterprise. Felt's MCP server lets AI assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and more, build and interact with Felt maps directly from a prompt. Your agent can pull data from your warehouse, run spatial SQL, apply styles, and publish a live shareable map, all without anyone opening Felt manually. One prompt in, one live map out.
Because the right price depends on how many people will use Felt, what data sources you'll connect, and whether you need things like AI, SSO, or a developer platform. A 10-minute call gets people to the right plan faster than a price page.
Felt is sold as an annual contract. We don't offer month-to-month billing for Professional or Enterprise — annual pricing is how we keep the math predictable on both sides. If your budget cycle needs flexibility, the 7-day Professional trial lets you validate the fit before committing, and sales can usually work with custom payment terms on Enterprise.
Nothing dramatic. We'll reach out to talk about whether the next tier makes sense. We don't auto-bill overages or throttle your maps — predictability is the point.
Yes. Felt imports ArcGIS Feature Servers, Map Servers, and Image Servers directly, and most file formats — including FGDB and GPKG — drag-and-drop in. Most teams keep both during a transition; we don't require an all-or-nothing switch.
By default, U.S. (AWS). Enterprise plans include EU regional hosting and data residency options. Enterprise customers can run in their own VPC.
Yes. All your data is exportable to standard formats — Shapefile, GeoJSON, GeoPackage, GeoTIFF, CSV — at any time, on any plan. Live cloud-source data (Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, S3) never moves out of your warehouse in the first place; Felt only reads it. There's no proprietary export-only format and no deal-time provision that gives us your data on cancellation. We don't think lock-in is a healthy way to retain customers.
Default sign-up is a 7-day Professional trial — no credit card, no sales call required. What you try is what you'll buy. AI is optional on the trial.
