Anna is a Research Manager with Earth Insight, where she maps the threats of industrial extractive activities to some of the world's most biodiverse ecosystems and Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities. She uses spatial analysis and cartography to bring transparency about the threats and impacts of fossil fuels, mining, and other extractives, to communicate these threats to the most impacted communities, and to provide communities with tools for their movements. Her work focuses on the Amazon and the Congo Basins, with recent maps highlighting the potential impact of the new oil auction in the DRC, and the risk of oil and gas expansion in Colombia.
